Our Friends in Jesus

1 Corinthians 12:12-14 (NIV)

One Body but Many Parts

12 There is one body, but it has many parts. But all its many parts make up one body. It is the same with Christ. 13 We were all baptized by one Holy Spirit. And so we are formed into one body. It didn’t matter whether we were Jews or Gentiles, slaves or free people. We were all given the same Spirit to drink. 14 So the body is not made up of just one part. It has many parts.

Here's the Truth:

We're all different people with different talents, different skills, different minds, and different purposes in life.  We realize that because we are different people, made so by God, not everyone will like or agree with the way we operate at St. John's Church.  Maybe the Worship Leader is a bit long winded or boring (I know him personally and he won't mind the criticism.) or maybe you just don't like the lighting.  Whatever your discomfort or dislike, it's okay.

Our prayer for you is that you continue your journey to grow a relationship with Jesus.  Therefore, we've compiled a list of a few other local churches for you to consider if St. John's Church doesn't fit your personality.  We don't have any financial ties to the churches below, but we have interacted with them in various ways.  We can state that their members have open and loving hearts, and the pastors are led by the Holy Spirit and preach from the Bible.  They will treasure your attendance!

Keep in mind, as you search for a church home, that no church will be perfect.  Each will have unique traits and may do things differently.  Make no mistake, though, while we may be different our purpose is the same: Jesus.  We are His Church!
